I'v met a lot of artist who though, after switching from paper to tablet, or from computer to tablet their skills will instantly get busted by 1000% percent, because all professionals use tablets, while the truth was, none of them knew how to use them properly. It's not like after buying a pro tech makes you a pro. And to achieve anything, you need to train your hand to use the tablet. You're trying to make digital art, the way you would do traditional art. Stop with tracing photos of traditional art because this is not a wy to do it. If you want to become good with a tablet, you need to actually draw on a tablet. What I mean, the process changes completly. Digital art is nothing like traditional art, even though it looks similar at first, all the rules are completly different.
You can tell, that it works completly different and you cannot expect that you will instantly eb good at it without even putting the right time and effort into learning a new thing. And what did you actually expected? Switching from paper to tablet is a complete change of your media.
